Chan Lap Yan, Eric
Mr. Chan Lap Yan, Eric completed his Bachelor of Science in 2016 at the University of Melbourne – major in Mechanical Engineering and minor in Electronic Engineering. From 2017 to 2019 he continued his academic pursuit with a dual Master of Engineering majoring in International Automotive Engineering at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (Australia) and the Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (Germany).
From 2020 Feb onwards he becomes a PhD candidate and is currently completing his Doctor of Physics researching and working in the development of Radar System and Artificial Intelligence in the Technische Universität Chemnitz (Germany).
Regarding his work experiences, since 01 January 2015 Eric voluntarily worked as Chief Logistic Coordinator and Head of Simultaneous Interpretation Team for the Institute of Brain and Mind Education (IBME) in preparation and organization of the 2nd International Brain and Mind Expo. He also supported at various Brain-Based Learning, Thinking-Based Learner or Habits of Mind workshops or seminars organized by IBME.
With a genuine passion for engineering high-quality solutions, building and implementing architecture roadmaps for next generation Artificial Intelligence solutions, Eric recently becomes part-time training coach of IBME conducting Brain-Based seminars for children and teenagers on concepts of Engineering and Artificial Intelligence programming. Sharing his passion and knowledge to positively support learners in this advanced technology field.
